Data controller
Avv. Fabio Valenziano — Studio Legale Fabio Valenziano. Email info@fabiovalenziano.com, PEC avv.fabiovalenziano@pec.it.
What data we process
The data you choose to provide through the contact form or by email: full name, email address, phone number, company, country of origin or residence, preferred language, area of assistance and a brief description of the matter. Please do not send documents or special categories of data (for example health or judicial information).
When you browse the site, the site’s hosting provider records technical data (for example IP address, date and time of the request and page requested) needed to operate and secure the service.
Purposes and legal basis
Form data is processed to respond to your request and, if you wish, to arrange a preliminary meeting. The legal basis is the taking of steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Technical browsing data is processed to keep the site running and secure, on the basis of legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Whether providing data is mandatory
Providing your data is voluntary. However, the fields marked with an asterisk are needed for us to respond to your request.
How data is handled and how long it is kept
Data is processed electronically, with appropriate measures to keep it confidential and in accordance with professional secrecy. It is kept for as long as needed to handle your request; if an engagement follows, for the period required by the rules applicable to the professional relationship.
Recipients
Data is not disclosed to the public. It may be processed, as data processors, by the providers of the technical services that run the site and communications (the site’s hosting provider, the email service and, where used, a form-forwarding service). Where a provider is based outside the European Union, transfers rely on the safeguards set out in Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
Profiling
No profiling or automated decision-making takes place.
Your rights
You may exercise at any time the rights set out in Articles 15–22 GDPR — access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection — by writing to info@fabiovalenziano.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) (garanteprivacy.it).
